The water beneath the school in the valley floor moves into the ocean while passing through a series of clear pools, as inspired by the pools seen in the Jiuzhaigou Valley picture previously uploaded. I also created the stepped and contoured surfaces in front of the pools as an homage to the Jiuzhaigou Valley (as can also be seen in the picture).
Landscape (front view):
Here is a front view of the school (away from the entrance). It can be easily seen in this picture how the section design of the school relates to the Chinese character for school: å¦. In the background can be seen one of the snow-capped mountains inspired by the Jiuzhaigou Valley in winter, when select higher areas of valley become covered in snow.

This is an aerial view of the school from the direction of the entrance and facing out towards the lake. It can be seen here the lined ground only in particular areas around the school and the long extension leading to each of the school facilities.
