EXP3: Final Submission 2

Entrance:
The entrance to the school extends onto one of the valley tops (leveled for practical purposes) and has two paths: one through the 'chute' walkway below and another on the surface of the chute that can easily be walked on due to the raised land on the side of the chute. I constructed it with the intent of 'using the nature as a basis of design so that it can grow, as nature grows' outwards.

Entry Path:
Upon entering the school, the students can easily see the open entrances of the computer lab (left), library (centre) or the lecture theatre (right). I designed these openings in such a way to promote openness with nature.

Lecture Theatre:
A typical lecture theatre with several rows of seats, a podium and television, as seen from one of the closer lecture chairs in the 3rd row. Typical though it may be, it does contain the characteristic 'slits' for natural lighting and to invoke the idea of bamboo stalks.

Top floor of Library:
The library has a spiralling shape towards this upper floor which contains a large open space for quiet study, and has a nice open view (through the windows, the open wall on the right is a Lumion error). As can be seen the majority of the material used is wood, which provides a natural, homely feeling and also brings a 'natural living atmosphere to the building'.

Research Centre:
The research centre sits atop the library and is open to the surrounding nature, with larger slit openings arranged in a 'bar graph' pattern and an extensive wall of glass. The top level of the research facility is also almost completely open to encourage natural inspirations, taking the very word 'inspiration' ('to be breathed on by the gods') in a manner imagined by ancient Chinese architects who believed in the 'intimate relationship between the earth and the heavens'.
